Air Fryers – Good or Bad?

The mechanical fan inside the Air Fryer is responsible for cooking the food at the perfect temperature. Nowadays most Air Fryers come with time and temperature adjusting dials, thus, allowing cooking the food more precisely.

However, like every other object in this world, the Air Fryer also has its own advantages and disadvantages.

No Mess due to the absence of grease

Unlike other deep fryers and frying pans, the Air Fryer allows one to cook food without oil. Most people like to eat their food with no to minimum oil because oil-less foods are considered to be much more healthy.

Very much user friendly

Longer cooking time

Cooking food in an air fryer is a slow process when compared to that of a conventional fryer. Food items which can otherwise be cooked in 10-15 minutes in a normal fryer, often take 25-30 minutes to get cooked completely.

Low Capacity

The size of an air fryer is quite small most of the times. Therefore, when a large amount of food needs to be cooked, it becomes extremely difficult. This factor, when combined with the slow process of cooking, makes an air fryer really difficult to be used under some circumstances.

Food can get burnt easily

As air fryers work at an extremely high temperature of about 400-450 oF. Therefore, there is a high chance of the food getting burnt if you are slightly inattentive.
